At 2:00 p.m. today, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA) forecasts that the Shallow Low Pressure Area (SLPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 130 km Southeast of Puerto Princesa City (8.8°N, 118.0°E) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
